Marion est une illustratrice et autrice jeunesse basée à Besançon, diplômée en arts appliqués et en illustration de l’école Saint-Luc de Bruxelles. Si son travail s’oriente principalement vers l’édition jeunesse, elle s’investit également dans des projets d’illustration très variés. Son univers sensible et organique, se nourrit du vivant (végétal, animal, humain), de la mémoire et des détails du quotidien. Attachée aux techniques traditionnelles, elle travaille exclusivement à la main. Le crayon de couleur est son médium de prédilection, choisi pour sa spontanéité, les textures qu’il offre et l’empreinte authentique du geste sur le papier.
Marion is a children’s illustrator and author based in Besançon, and a graduate in applied arts and illustration from the École Saint-Luc in Brussels. While her work focuses primarily on children’s publishing, she also takes on a wide variety of illustration projects. Her sensitive and organic universe draws inspiration from the living world (plants, animals, and humans), memory, and the details of everyday life. Deeply attached to traditional techniques, she works exclusively by hand. Colored pencil is her medium of choice, selected for its spontaneity, the textures it offers, and the authentic mark of the hand on the paper.
