Daniel Egnéus est né en Suède en 1972. Il a vécu entre Prague, Londres, Berlin, Bologne, Rome et Milan pendant 20 ans avant de s’établir à Athènes, où il vit aujourd’hui. Illustrateur prolifique, Daniel Egnéus a collaboré avec Häagen-Dazs, BMW, Pepsi Cola, Playboy, O2 UK, Marie Claire et Time Magazine. En 2017, il illustre la Chanel Cruise Collection pour le magazine American Express/Departures. Daniel Egnéus a également travaillé dans l’édition, avec Neil Gaiman (American Gods, Anansi Boys, Black Dog et The Monarch of The Glen). Son dernier album jeunesse, Lubna and Peebles (Dial Books) compte parmi les 10 meilleurs livres illustrés de 2019 du magazine TIME.

A prolific artist, he has had successful collaborations with many clients. These include: Haagen-Dasz , BMW, Pepsi Cola, Playboy, O2 UK, Marie Claire and Time Magazine. In December of 2009 he was sponsored by Audi at Art Basel Miami. Here they presented an oversized book featuring his illustrations and he spent five days onsite doing live drawing. Books published including four books with Neil Gaiman – American Gods, Anansi Boys, Black Dog and The Monarch of The Glen for which he won no less then 3 awards. In 2017 he went to Cuba to illustrate the Chanel Cruise Collection for American Express/Departures magazine live at the runway. His latest children’s book Lubna and Pebble was chosen by TIME Magazine as one of the 10 best picture books in 2019.
